Schätzungen und a priori Schätzwerte von Beobachtungsfehlern sind für Reanalysen besonders wichtig, weil sich diese im Lauf der mehrere Jahrzehnte langen Assimilationsperiode erheblich ändern.
Der Workshop ist an sich für Teilnehmer am ERA-CLIM Projekt gedacht. Einige Personen können sich aber als stille Zuhörer den einen oder anderen Vortrag anhören.
