Prof. Barbara Romanowicz holds the chair of Physics of the Earth`s Interior at the College de France, und was director of the Berkeley Seismological Laboratory at the University of California in Berkeley. She came to our faculty to hold the NowaGea-lecture nowagea.univie.ac.at) - with the title "Seismic Imaging of the Earth`s Deep Interior".
Dr Norimitsu Nakata is Postdoc at Stanford University, and he gave a talk in the Meteorological-Geophysical Colloquium Series - with the title "Body-Wave Imaging Using the Ambient Seismic Field".
